I know i've been here too long now. I have started making excuses to go to the one grocery store on the other side of town that sells imported Ruffles potato chips. You think it's desperate, but look at the following flavors that are (I swear) available from the locally-made Lay's Potato Chip affiliate:

Kyushu Seaweed
San Fransisco Baked Crab
Texas BBQ
Hawaii Red Pepper
Tahiti Yellow Lemon
Kyoto Green Tea

Unfortunately, believe me when I say they're all pretty bad. I just want salt flavor.
